Have you been rejected multiple times for not being “Cultural fit” in a company despite of having qualification?

That’s quite frustrating. And it also happens quite often too.

Recruiters select individuals that they believe will fit within the corporate culture. However, this is a biased procedure that keeps workers from positions they merit.

What is cultural fit, exactly?

Cultural fit is designed to reveal whether your professional preferences and beliefs align with those of the organization you're applying to work for. If you wish to work from home, for example, you would be a good fit in a company that has a work-from-home policy. If you are a diehard environmentalist, you will not fit in with a pro-coal-mining group. And if you value work-life balance, a start-up that is still finding its feet is unlikely to be a good fit.

Employing for cultural fit tends to prefer the company's existing quo, whether it pertains to race, gender, age, socioeconomic level, or even lacrosse abilities. This makes it more difficult for anyone who does not 'fit the mould' to enter industries where they are currently under-represented.

With Taskimpetus Inc team we make sure that employers don’t encourage the various factors above for recruitment. We overcome this problem of hiring and evolved out with something new.

There are many employers in a company who may not be fit with the culture but trying hard to do so. That is also not at all good. It is always better to investigate the matter from both sides and their preferences. Surely that would help in getting the problem solved and fit for everyone.

Coming to the other part, let us look at the other side:

Indeed, there is a fundamental disadvantage for organizations that rely on cultural fit: they can become quite homogeneous. According to research, teams with a varied mix of genders, races, and sexual orientations perform better in the workplace. They are more likely to increase market share, develop new goods, and gain decision-maker support.

If you go out and hire people who are like you, it's improbable that you'll solve an issue that people who are similar to you haven't previously solved.

So concluding with the positive vibe,

Let’s not keep this as barrier in the hiring process. Employers and employees both can actively participate in the hiring process and get the suitable one who is interested in business and nothing else.
